Honda has taken action to patentthe disc brake inside the winch to give ultimate winch control.It was designed to be a very efficient system for less batterydrain. All parts should be a simple wire connection with no needto splice wires. This kit is missing a mini rocker switch.This item has never been used, installed, or opened until a salesinspection.
